Rev. Andre N. Greene
Reverend Andre’ N. Greene is many things to many people. More specifically, he is a father to his children, a husband to his wife, a shepherd to his church family, a preacher among preachers, an accomplished pastor, and a scholar to academia. With twenty-two years of pastoral ministry, Reverend Greene remains faithful to serving God, which is evident through his exceptional and energetic preaching style and pastoral leadership. Reverend Greene’s spiritual development began at the hem of the late Bishop Alfred G. Dunston Jr, the 68th Bishop in the line of succession of the A.M.E. Zion Church and at his home church, Pierce Chapel A.M.E Zion Church, Oriental, North Carolina. Reverend Greene has served the pastorate of Reels Chapel AMEZ Church; Zion Temple AMEZ Church, Havelock, NC; Jonesboro Chapel AMEZ Church, Sanford, NC; Blackwell AMEZ Church, Flint, Michigan, and Zion Temple AMEZ Church, Grifton, NC.
Reverend Greene attained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work at Elizabeth City State University, Elizabeth City, NC. He is currently employed by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety as the Religious Services Coordinator and Program Supervisor. Reverend Greene provides guidance and assistance for religious activities as well as plan and coordinate the delivery of services to assigned inmates at Pamlico Correctional Facility. He completed a Biblical Studies and Leadership program at Destiny Christian University, Roseville, Michigan and SentOne Network, Flint, Michigan. Reverend Greene is a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He holds membership in and has served several organizations, including member of the National Advancement for Colored People; member, North Carolina Law Enforcement Association, member, Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
When asked about his approach to life, Reverend Greene says, “I approach each day believing that God would allow me to be a blessing to someone I encounter each day”. His motto, "Equipping disciples with the knowledge to believe God" serves him both personally and professionally. His favorite bible verse is Joshua 1:8; “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Reverend Greene is married to LaShon Greene, and they are the proud parents of four beautiful daughters, two handsome sons and grandparents to Princess Railyn.
